PRESS ASSOCIATION.
TIMAETJ, April 6. A meeting of the congregation of th» Wesleyan Church was held to-night to bid farewell to the Rev. S. J. Scrpell, who leaves this week to take charge of tho Tartmaki street circuit, Wellington. Addresses were made on behalf of the circuit stewards, local preachers, Sunday school and Bible class, and presentations of a puree of sovereigns and silverwtire were made to Mr and Sirs Scrpell. Mr ScrpelTs business energy and zeal wore eulogised and his personal qualities highly spoken of.
