TELEGRAMS DELAYED
WILFULLY BLOCKED BY INDIAN OPERATORS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright CALCUTTA, April 5. Telegraph operators in India, being dissatisfied with regulations introduced by Mr Nowlands, an expert lent by the British Post Office, wilfully delayed messages.
Two thousand telegrams were stopped at Rangoon, and cablegrams from Europe via Teheran are seriously delayed at Kerch! and onwards. .
