Tho Internationa! football match between England and Scotland, under Association rales, was played at Glasgow yesterday, and resulted in a draw, each side scoring a goal each.
There -was a.n enormous attendance, estimated at 130,000, which constitutes a games 7 record. Tho sum of £7OOO was taken at tho gates.' Fifty thousand persons had to be refused admission to the packed
ground. In the crush forty persons were injured.
Tho international Association football championship waa won laat year by Wales, which won two of tho threo matches played. England and Scotland each won one match out of three. Ireland had threo losses. The match between England and Scotland last year wa-9 played at Newcastle rm April 6th. Each side scored one goal—as on this occasion. Tho tunings at this match last year amounted to £2725.
