UNITED CLUB. At the annual meeting of the United Hookey Club, to he held at the Occidental Hotel on Thursday evening, the report to he presented congratulates members upon the continued success of the club. :' The first eleven had won. the senior championship for the eighth time, while the junior eleven, although not successful in winning the competition in which they competed, secured third place, The club had also entered a team for the Third-class Cup, but the youngest team had been seriously handicapped by lack of sufficient players. The record of the teams was as follows; —Senior team Championship matches: Played 10, won 7, draini 3, lest 0; goals for 57, against 3. All matches: Played 12, ivon 9, drawn 3, lost 0; goals for 74, against 20. Junior team Championship matches: Played 14,, won 10, drawn 1, lost 3; goals for 44, against 27; points for 20, against 7. All matches: Played 15, won 10, drawn 1, lost 4; goals for 45, against 31. Third learn— Championship matches: Playe:d 7, won 0, lost 7;-goals for 6, against 50. The club therefore played 34 matches, won 19, drew 4, lost 11, and scored 125 goals against 101. Since its formation the club had played 236 matches, won 133, drawn 28, lost 45, and scored 851 goals against 265. In inter-pro-vincial matches the club was representftl by Messrs W. E. Pearson, F. L. AsKbolt, 0. Hickson, A. P. King, G. JB. Evlcy,. W. J. Organ, L. Elliott, W. Bukett, G. Smythe, and A. J. Hollis. The financial position was satisfactory. Thanks were due to Messrs C. A. Richardson, W. E. Bethune, and W. E. Pearson for donations.
