THE PRICE OF SHEEP
(Special to the "N.Z. Times.”) CHRISTCHURCH. April 6. The annual draft of the Mount Somers Estate ewes offered at the Tinwald yards last week brought only 14s 3d, as compared with an average price in former years ,of about 20s. In 1903 the ewes brought 25s 3d and tho quality of those offered last week was equal to that of any sheep previously sold at the yards. In 1907 the price obtained for the draft was 16s 3d.
