MAJOR TAYLOR NEXT NOVEMBER.
Arrangements have been practically settled for another Australasian racing tour bv Major Taylor. His first appearance is to lie on me Sydney Cricket Ground next November. .According to advices received locally, the famous negro sprinter has regained all his old-time form, and will give aspirants for sprinting honours all they know to keep ahead of him. If Lawson, Kramer, Taylor, and A. J. Clark visit Europe for the coming racing season, there should be some fine match racing, as the Continental quartette, Ellegaard, Rutt, Friol, and ni-amalciir champion Dcvoissoux, ore all reported to ho in good form, and the promoters should have no difficulty in arranging meetings. Taylor’s friends think he will defeat allcomers.
