FLAT RACES.—The winner of any flat race exceeding 30 sovs in valne after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 10lb. and of every additional race a further penalty of 61b, Horses handicapped nt Bst 101 b to carry only half the above penalties. HURDLE RACES.—The winner of ny hurdle race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101 b in the hurdle races, and for every additional race 71b extra NOMINATIONS for all races except Trial Plate and Scurry, close MONDAY M ARCH 30th, nt 8.30 p.m. _ WEIGHTS for first day’s races will be declared on or about FRIDAY, APRIL )6th. 1908. For second day’s races will bo declared on the night of the first day's races at about 8 p.m. ACCEPTANCES for first day’s races, and entries for Trial Plate and Scurry, do so on .MONDAY, April 13th, 1908, at 8.30 p.m. For second day’s races will clooo on tho night olj the first day’s races with the Secretary at his office, Feilding, at 9 p.m. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. All entries to be sealed and addressed to tho Secretary, Feilding, with name and age at time, of entry, name of owner, pedigree, colours of the rider, and performances of tho horse. 2. Entries by telegram must be cou■firmed in writing at the earliest opportunity. 3. Any owner failing to declare his colours at time of entry will be fined 1 sov., unless they are registered. ' 4. All races to bo run under the Rules of Racing as adopted by the Racing Conference of New Zealand. 5 Tho Committee reserve the right to alter th- date or time for declaration of weights, nominations, or acceptances. as they may deem fit. 6. Hack means a horse that has not won. at time of entry, a race of tho value of 100 sovs., or races of tho collective value of 250 sovs. In entering horses owners are particularly reminded that the name or assumed name of the owner must be given, also tho name of the trainer.
