Alexander Farrier, charged at Orepuki with manslaughter by culpably killing Alice C’oiebv, was committed for trial, bail being allowed. Ferrier was the driver of a traction engine, which frightened a horcc the <;--'oo r ved was driving, and a fat?l accident ensued.
