AN AIRSHIP GETS ADRIFT

As t!he airship La Patrie was being repaired at Verdun, in the department of Meuse, during a gale, a sudden gust of wind wrenched the balloon from the grasp of two hundred men holding on to the anchor ropes. It has been reported that the ship was seen early today above Torr Hoad, Antrim, Ireland, 630 miles north-west of Verdun. Tho French Government has orders! M. Jolliot to build two airships similar in type to La Patrie. Meanwhile the airship Ville de Paris replaces La Patrie at Verdun.
