ENTERTAINMENTS.
THEATRE ROYAL. .Fullers' Theatre Royal was crowded last evening, though the programme was not a new one. The various “turns" met with duo appreciation, and encores were num* erous. ‘ COMPLIMENTARY CONCERT. The complimentary concert to Herr Max Hoppo will take place in the Town Hall next Wednesday evening. The committee is endeavouring to have all numbers on the ; programme as popular as psosible in order that all tastes may bo catered for. A large number of tickets have been disposed of, and things look very well for a full house. The box plan will open at tho Dresden tomorrow. GIRLS' GUILD ENTERTAINMENTS. Considerable interest is being taken in tho dramatic performances to be given in tho Sydney street Schoolroom to-morrow afternoon and on Friday evening under the auspices of the Girls’ Realm Guild of Service. The principal piece to ho produced is the comedietta. “Freezing a Mother-in-law." This will bo given by a Government House party, at the head of winch is the JTon. Kathleen PUmket. There will be two other pieces—'"Shattered Nerves" and "A Pair-of Lunatics," by leading amateurs. As these entertainments are being arranged in tho cause of charity, it is hoped,' and believed, that they will be generously supported by the public. , EXCURSION TO DAY'S BAY. , What promises to be a very successful outing is announced for to-night, when a. moonlight excursion and orchestral concert will be held in tho pavilion. Day's Bay. The orchestra includes many players who were. with the Exhibition Orchestra, and a programme of excellent music is promised. Tho water chute and side shows will bo in full swing. ' MISS ROSE BLANEY'S CONCERT. The programme that is being arranged bv Miss Rose Blancy for her popular concert to be held in the Town Hall should prove very attractive. Miss Blancy's abilities are well known. For many years she was Dunedin's leading She will be assisted by some of Wellington's, leading singers, as well ns bv Mi«s Madeline Knight, of Auckland, and Mrs T. F.
