YESTERDAY'S STOCK SALES. (From Our Correspondents.) JOHNSONVILLE. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report; —Wo had, a full entry of bullocks, mostly prime quality, but not heavy. Bidding was slow’ throughout, and beef was fully 2s per 1501 b lower than at last sale. Beef made up to 22s per 1001 b. Best bullocks T 9 5s to <£9 12s 6d each, others <£B 10s to <£9 2s 6d, light £7 10s to T 8 ss. A poor yarding of sheep, including a few shorn sheep, sold at last week's rates. Shorn ewes 15s lOd, shorn, wethers 16s lOd to 17s Cd, woolly ewes 255, light wethers 21s to 255, lambs (plain) 10a 6d to 11s. There was a good yarding of porkers and bnconers. Pork sold up to 42d, baconers 3:ld. MARTON. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report;—We had a fair entry of sheep. Wether hoggets 18« 2d, fat and forward ewes 17s, mixed wethers and ewes 18s, fat cows £5 5s 6d. PAHIATUA. Local apples are practically finished for tho season, and the tamo remark applies to Tasmanian.
