A question involving the health of the community was before the Education Board meeting yesterday, when Mr A. W. Sogg moved that tho resolution of the Board regarding conveniences at Mount Cook pasa-ri at the July meeting should be rescinded. H© considered it was the height of absurdity to place them in the proximity guEiffostad—close to the footpath. 4 He had never heard of such a monstrous proposal. It had no regard for the public health, Tho motion was lost, only the mover voting for it. Hr Hogg: Then I will advise the people to apply for an injunction of the Supreme Court to Prevent it being done." The chairman: You should not adviM them to do anything of tho kind." .
