CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOUR.
ANNTJAX CONVENTION. - Hie annual convention of the Christian Endeavour Societies of the Wellington listriot was continued yesterday, when i series of meetings was held in the Wesley Church, Taranaki street. The meeting took the form of an "All Nations'' tea, each table representing a separate nationality. At 7 p.m. a prayer meeting, conducted by the Rev. McDonald Aspland, the new president of the Wellington Provincial Christian Endeawmrers'’ conducted the meeting. At 7.90 p.m. a united consecration serrio© was held, at which the new presiient was inducted. The roll of societies leas also called. An address was given bv the Rev. J. J, North on "The Art *r Personal Dealing.'* The final meeting of the day took the form of a communion serrice, which was conducted by the Rev. J. Kennedy Elliott.
The convention closes to-day. An openair demonstration; with the Central Mission Band in attendance, will be held this afternoon.
