THE FORTHCOMING EFFORT. SOME PAST ACHIEVEMENTS. In some parts of New Zealand, whore the country is naturally difficult, to work, the annual self-denial effort of the Salvation Army has already begun, and is meeting ■with good success. The lists for the city of Wellington will not be given out to the collectors until next Tuesday. The collection will close on October 26th.
