(To the ISditor "N.Z. Times.”) Sir,—ln ‘justice to th© referee concerned, allow me to make clear your report of the meeting: of the Hockey Association Committee on Thursday evening. The Ivarori anneal against the result of the XTnited-Karori match was dismissed as being on appeal on points of fact, as to which the referee's decision was final. The match and th© points scored by each team stand. The United eleven have a final fixture with the Wellington eleven on the 21st inst., and at the request of the United secretary, the committee consented to the Kaxori eleven taking the place of the Wellington team in that fixture, provided the three teams concerned agree.
