F.- Havbittle's interest in the lease and furniture of the Masonic Hotel, Woodvxlle, Hawke's Bay, to Mr Andrew Laing, late of the Family Hotel, Poston. Mr Samuel J. Gibbons’s interest in the lease and furniture of the well-known White Hart Hotel, Marton, to Mr David Cormack, late of the Commercial Hotel, Pahiatua. A ten years' lease of the Apiti Hotel, ne* Peilding, together with furniture and effects, to Mrs S. Tilsley, of Wellington. Mr B. W. Wilson's interest in the lease and furniture of the Bridge Hotel, Waitara. Taranaki, to Mr John Bertie, formerly proprietor of several leading hotels in .Wellington, and Mr P. W. Corby’s interest in the lease and furniture of the Shepherd’s Arms Hotel, Tinakori road, Wellington, to Sir 'Robert Buckeridge, formerly proprietor of several hotels in the Wairarapa. Mr Buckeridge takes possession on the 39th inst. * The word “slothful” is rather a misnomer. for in its native habitat—a largo tree—a sloth can, and does, travel very y^nidly.
