DISTRICT HOSPITAL BOARD
The monthly meeting of the Wellington District Hospital Board was held yesterday morning. Present—Messrs Jus, Godber (chairman), J. P. Luke, H. C, Kirk, and G. Frost. THE OTAKI HOSPITAL. T9ae matron of the Otaki Hospital repeated that seventeen patients w ere admitted to the hospital during August and nine discharged, Eight males and three females were under treatment, and all was working satisfactorily. OTAiKX SANATORIUM, The matron of the Otaki Sanatorium reported that no new patients had been admitted since August 21st. One had been discharged on September *th. FINANCE. Tho financi»l statement showed a credit balance in bank of £IOSO, patients* foes duo £2OO, Onslow Borough £so—total £1300; accounts for payment, £2000; overdraft required £700; accounts for October £2000; overdraft required £2000; November, levies duo by local bodies £3300; subsidy on same £33oo—total, £6600; overdraft, £2700; credit to carry forward £3900. THE AUDIT. 'Hie chairman informed tho meeting a return had been received from *he Audit Department approving of <heir balance-sheet. The audit showed a olean sheet.
