CITY LANDS AND TOWNSHIP OP HOEOPITO. An attractive catalogue of city and township lands is that which Messrs Macdonald, Wilson and Co. will submit at auction to-day at 2.30 o'clock, in thei Exchange Land Mart. By direction of the Hon. the Minister of Lands the firm will sell a freehold business site having a frontage of to Cuba street, running through to Crawford's lane, to which it also has a frontage of 24-Jft and a depth of 121 ft, also three building sections, having frontages to Wallace and Crawford streets of 44ft Sin by depths ranging from 129 ft to 133 ft 4in, The lots will be put up at upset prices, which are detailed on the lithographic plans to bo obtained on application to the firm or at the Crown Lands Office. By instructions from Messrs Churchill Bros, the firm will submit the goodwill of lease in the premises, Lambton quay, well known for many years as the bakery and confectionery business of Messrs McEwen and Churchill. The land is held under lease for a term of twenty-one years from 1902, and the buildings, which are all erected in brick, comprise, the double-fronted shop and dwelling, two-story warehouse, bakehouse, stables, etc. HOEOPITO.

After the sale of, the above properties the firm will conduct a sale of a resnbdiyteiou of the balance of this township, which/ comprises fifty-eight sections, ranging in area from a quarter-acre to one acre, and four small farm sections, ranging in area from 10 acres to 29J acres. This new township, which is situate on the Main North Trunk railway, in the centre of the great Waimarino forest, has much to commend it to the attention of investors, and, it is claimed, will become, on the completion of the Trunk railway line through to Auckland, a most important centre, .surrounded by an extensive area of dairying nnd pastoral country. 'The terms of sale for purchase are specially easy, viz : 10 per cent, deposit, 10 per cent, in three, six, nine, and twelve months without interest, and balance in three year? with interest at five per cent. Lithographic plans of the lots for sale also show those disposed of at the first sale, and the prices realised. These can be had on application.
