NEW STATUS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received September 11, 10.30 p.m.) LONDON, September 11. New Zealand has been gazetted a “Dominion,'” dating from September 26th. ANNOUNCEMENT IN THE HOUSE. At midnight last night. Sir, Joseph Ward read a cablegram to the House of Representatives which his Excellency the Governor had received from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, intimating—" Order in Council for change in style of colony issued 9th September; proclamation 10th September, to take effect from 26th September. Despatch follows by mail.’’
