A SUSPICIOUS FIRE

When the warder returned he found tho room on fire. The prisoners willingly assisted to suhdue the flames, but the flax-making machinery was destroyed. It is believed the prisoners caused the fire through resentment at being made to work at such a _ profitable industry without remuneration.
