WOODVILLB DISTRICT JOCKEY CLUB.
Tho autumn meeting of the Woodville District Jockey Club will be held to-mor-row and Thursday next. Both, in quantity and quality the acceptance© received are considered satisfactory. The horses engaged in the principal event include the winners of the Foxton and Pahiatua Cups and Wanganui Guineas. The Auckland district sends three representatives in Fretwork (a winner at Takapuna), Aqua ‘Regia, and Engraver. The lastnamed pair were successful at Hawera. The .first event, each day is set down for decision at 12.30 p.m. The following horses may run well on the openingday:— Maiden Plate —Chattel and Erl King. Hack Hurdles—Gold Dust. Whariti Hack—Waitapu and Millennial. Woodville Cup—Royal Blue and ArcCounty Hack—Merriwing and Chicane. Victoria Hack —Mahoe and Sandix. President's Handicap—Rosegrove and Victoria Park. Telephone Handicap—Lord Soult and Snnbonnet. DANNEVIRKE JOCKEY CLUB. Acceptances for tho first day’s handicaps, and entries for tho Trial Hack Race, seven furlongs, and the Shorts, five furlongs, at the Dannevirke Jockey Club’s annual meeting, to ;be held on March 6th and 7th, close to-night at 9.30 p.m. with Mr J. Spiers Freeman (secretary).
