TRANSVAAL INDIANS.
THEIR RIGHTS AS BRITISH SUBJECTS. JOHANNESBURG, October 10. The Government proposes to compel Indians residing in the Transvaal to register. The Indians, however, refuse to register, declaring they would prefer to go to prison. They intend to appeal to the Home Government to uphold their rights as British subjects.
