RAILWAY ACCIDENT
CELEBRATED CRIMINOLOGIST KILLED. (Received October 8, 9.44 p.m.) ROME, October 8. Four carriages of a JVlilan-Rome ex--press train were derailed at Piacenza, in northern Italy. Five persons were killed and fifty injured. Among the killed were Professor Eurico Ferri, the celebrated Socialist leader and criminologist, and soma members of his family.
