ANNIVERSARY REGATTA. Although tho weather was bright and sunny, tho conditions out Evans Bay way, ivhero tho Port Nicholson Ynch; Cmb Jiold its usual regatta, were gencraiiy voted .is satisfactory hy boating mini. Buciiolz), 2.48 ... 3 Mahina had the best of the first round of the course, but the Syren slowly and steadily gained 1 upon her, and won in good stylo in Ihr Glmiu. Third-class Yachts (handicap); course 8 knots; open to all yachts under 35ft l.r. First prize, £5; second, £2 10«; third, £l.
