NOTES AND ANTICIPATIONS. Tho favourable weather prevailing has only to continue to make the opening of tho Wellington Racing Club’s course at Trentham to-day a groat success. Visitors from North and South commenced to arrive yesterday, and, judging by Die largo number of invitations tliat have been accepted, it is estimated that when tho starting-bell rings for the first race, set down for decision at noon, there will bo ten thousand people on the ground. The field for tho principal event promises to bo larger than has contested the race for tho past ten yeans.
