PRESS ASSOCIATION. DUNEDIN, October 30. The president of the Otago Engbv Union telegraphed to the New Zealand Rugby Union to-day, as follows;—"The committee considers it highly desirable that tho New Zealand fixtnrcs’at Glasgow and Limerick be cancelled in view of the international games on tbo following Saturdays. A strong fooling exists here that it is unwise to imperil the chances of success against Ireland and England by mid-week engagements, with heavy travelling."
