The Tysor steamer Indralema, from Tpndon, via Australia, Auckland, and Napier, is expected to arrive at Wellington to-morrow morning. Captain John Grubb, a familiar figure in the coastal sailing fleet, lias been given charge of _ the Northern Company's steamer Ohinenuiri, in place of Captain Mitchell, who is now in command of the ketch Moonan. The scow Echo, from Karamea, arrived in the stream yesterday afternoon with a cargo of 72,000 ft of timber. The Union Company's collier Hawea is to load coal at Westport to-morrow for Wellington, where she i a due on Wednesday night. The soow Haere arrived on Saturday afternoon from Karamea. She berthed at No. 6, Glasgow Wharf, and will discharge about 60,000 ft of timber.

Tho Harbourmaster states that oversea shipping at Wellington during tho month has been unusually quiet, both as regards discharging and loading. It is expected that next month will show a considerable improvement. Messrs J. McGill and Son, of Dunedin, have purchased tho wreck of tho barque County of Ayr for £ 24, and the cargo of timber for .£56. Tbo Union Company's new turbine steamer Mahono, which is to sail from Sydney on November 18th for Wellington, Southern p/orts. Hobart and Melbourne, will thus relievo tho Waiknro in the intercolonial service. Tho latter steamer will then take up her running in the Dunedin-East Coast ports-Auck-land trade, in place of the Tarawera, which will lay up at Dunedin. THE KENT. Tho wet weather has detained the steamer. Kent, of tho New Zealand and African Company's fleet. Tho vessel will leave Lyttelton for Wellington this evening, and is to berth to-morrow morning at No. 4, Glasgow Wharf. She will sail to-morrow evening or on Wednesday morning for Sydney. Fremantle, South African ports, and West of England. Tho following passengers have booked for Durban: —Miss Knox, Messrs J, A. Smith, C. A. Smith. MOERAKI LEAVES SYDNEY. Cable advice has been received by tho local office of the Union Company that the steamer Moeraki sailed from Sydney at 3 p.m. on Saturday for Wellington direct. The vessel is bringing an unusually largo number of passengers for New Zealand, there being 123 saloon and 160 steerage. THE BLENHEIM ARRIVES. Tho new steamer Blenheim, which was built at Foster, New South Wales, to replace tho wrecked steamer Nambucca in. the Wellington-Blenhcim trade, arrived on Saturday evening from Sydney. The vessel berthed at the Wool jetty, where she attracted considerable attention yesterday. Tho Blenheim was favoured with fair winds and fine weather throughout tho voyage. Captain H, G. Kerrison brought the vessel across, and was accompanied by Mr Roas (late of North Coast S.S. Co.'s service) as mate. Mr W. Hood, formerly of the Nambucca. is in charge of the engines, and there is a crew of ten “ runners." Th© outward appearance of the now steamer resembles somewhat the Nambucca, although the Blenheim has finer lines. The passenger accommodation is extremely comfortable, and there is room, for about 20 adults. The cabin, which is large, is upholstered in maroon leather. Following arc the principal dimensions of th© Blenheim —Length, 101 ft; beam, 23ft; depth of hold, 7ft. There is a cargo capacity of 150 tons in the two holds. There are two winches, one which is of the friction type, and is situated on th© after end of the house. The compound surface condensing engines were manufactured by Bow McLachland and Co., Paisley. Ample space is devoted to the engino-room, which ig liberally ventilated. Steam-steering gear is fitted. Tho Blenheim brought a cargo of timber and lead from Sydney. Johnston and Co., Ltd., advise that she is to commence running in tho Wcllington-Blcnheim. service probably on Wednesday. THE MANAROA'S SERVICES. Moesrs Johnston and Co.'e adviso that in future there will bo some slight changes in tho running of tho Manaroa in tho Havelock and Motucka services. The weekly departure of tho Manaroa for Motueka from Wellington will bo on alternate Saturdays and Mondays. Tho vessel will inaugurate the new service

next Saturday, and will sail again for Motueka on Monday, November 13lh. In future the Manaroa will sail from Wellington on Wednesdays for Havelock and buys, in place of Thursdays, commencing on Wednesday, November Bth,
