Full-woolled light-condi-tioned skins sold well, but heavy skins were lower by id per lb, as also were all damaged pelted skins. Wo offered about IGOO skins, 23. packages wool, over 400 hides and calfskins, and a quantity of tallow, and quote:—Sheepskins—Merino, half-bred and fine crossbred Sid to 9d; coarse crossbred, 8d to SSd; dead skins, oijd to 7)d; inferior pelted and short wools, 5d to 7-j-d; green skins, cadi 5s 6d to Bs. Tallow, in tins, from 15s to 18s 3d per cwt.j casks 19s to 30s 6d per cwt. Murray, Roberts and Co. report:— Wo offered a catalogue of 2400 sheepskins, 20 bales wool, and 600 hides and calfskins. Buyers were not present in such force as at the last few sales, and prices for skins were easier by a farthing per lb. Wo catalogued a few. halos of new clip fleece wool, showy, lustrous crossbred in very light condition, which realised lOJd.per lb.
