(Received October 27, 9.54 p.m.) AIELBOURNE, October 27. Tho Country Press Association of Now- South W T alcs has sent a petition to tho Federal House of Representatives against granting copyright of cables while such nows is accorded nominal transmission of rates, on account of the publio information contained in Ahem. The petition asks that no copyright should ensue unless ordinary rates of transmission are charged.
