The Dnco and Moturoa were engaged yesterday in dragging the harbour for two anchors ivhich the condemned barque Felicitaa broke adrift from in a recent southerly gale. An anchor was recovered yesterday, and a further attempt is to be made. The Harbourmaster states that there are several valuable anchors lying out in tho stream which have been lost at various periods, including some belonging to big ocean liners. Tho Pukaki, which sailed from Westport yesterday morning for AVellington has 947 tons of coal for the Union Company, 577 tons for the Westport Coal Company, and 125 tons for the State mines. The Pukaki is to sail on Saturday for Greymonth. The cargo eteamer Cape Breton, which is coming to New Zealand ports, is a fine specimen of the modern cargo carrier. at present running under the auspices of the United States and Australasian S.S. Company, arrived at Sydney on tho 16th instant from New York, via ports, with a largo cargo of general merchandise, including four locomotives for tho New South AA’ales Government, Captain Alan AVarden, an old and popular identity in tho Australian trade, has chargo if the Cape Breton. He was for many years associated with tho Gulf lino, arriving in Australia first in that employ seventeen years ago. He reports that the Cape Breton left New York on August 10, and made calls at St. AHncont (Capo Verde), Fremantle, and Melbourne, the voyage being free from unusual incident. ARRIVAL OF THE WARRIMOO. After an enjoyable voyage of 3 days 19 hours from Sydney direct tho Alnion Company’s steamer Warrimoo arrived in the stream at 8.30 a.m. yesterday.
