TRAFALGAR DAY CELEBRATIONS. OTTAWA, October 23. Two hundred and fifty Canadian towns enthusiastically celebrated the Nelson centenary regardless of the race of the inhabitants. Earl Grey, Governor-General of Canada, addressing five thousand children at Ottawa, insisted that Nelson fought and died not to secure the triumph of one race over another.
