A NAVAL SPLAY.
CEREMONY AT TOKIO. WELCOME FROM THE MIKADO. (Received October 25, 1.7 a.in.) TOKIO, October 24. The Mikado, aboard the armoured cruiser Asama, reviewedtthc Japanese and British fleets in Tokio Bay. The combined squadrons comprised 308 vessels. Gapturted Russian warships were a feature of the review. The shore was lined with spectators, and there was tremendous enthusiasm. The Mikado afterwards gave audience to British and American officers. The warships were illuminated at night, and there was a brilliant display of fireworks.
