Tho Audit Commission sat again yesterday. Only two witnesses were examined prion to tho adjournment— Messrs T. F. Grey (Defence Department) and F. Silva (Assistant Defence Storekeeper), His Honor the President (Mr Justice Donniston) intimated at tho close of the day’s proceedings that the Commission thought Colonel Porter ought to bo a witness. Mr Skcrrctt undertook to secure the colonel’s attendance. Tho Commission resumes again at half-past 10 this morning.
