Following are the results tor the seventeenth week of iue New Zealand egglaying competition; Total lor tne week, 2623; average per pen. 265; grand total to date, 23,046; grand average. 230 i per pen. Pen 41 (A. Ashworth, Alexandra South), silver Wyandoltes. have established a fresh record for one week’s laying, producing 3J out of a possible 43. ■Tiro weather nas been fine, but cold, during the week. All the birds are still in the best of health. , The gieatesi number of eggs collected for one day was 392 on the 23rd inst.
