WIRELESS TELEGRAPHY.
(To the Editor "N.Z Times.") Sir. —Mr Kilburn Srott writes that wireless telegraphy with Australia is "pla.vwork” and "only requires to be put in hand." Now, T don’t know what Mr Scott's status in the matter is; he may be quite disinterested. But did i( ever strike you that nobody ever mentions anv existing installation of wireless telegraphy? One naturally asks. Tell me of ono; mention its length, the prices charged, and the rate of transmission. My impression is that it is not as yet a commercial success, although the company is wealthy enough to get its doings widely written up. Most of tho expensivelj' illustrated magazine articles are nonsense from an electrical expert's point of view,—l am. etc., INQUIRER. August 11th. *
