CHRISTCHURCH, August 11, With few exceptions, useful to light tasks comprised the work at Riccar’ou this morning. Rungarawa dashed over six furlongs on the grass in Imin 22seo. Eurus went three circuits on the innea* grass track at three-quarter speed. Comfort performed a similar task, going well. Trumpery and Waiwera together d-d half to three-quarter pacing over two circuits. Wet Reef and Bill Bailey were com. panions over six furlongs in Imin 24seo, the Winter Cup horse going leisurely throughout. Full Cry and Heroism went one circuit at a sound pace. Half to steady pacing was practically all that was done by a large number of iiorsef out exercising.
