Tn tile -Assembly, tho Attornoy-Gen-oral took the preliminary stops for (.ho introduction of an Amending Liquor Hill, which provides for local option, restricting illicit traffic, regulating clubs, and tho stopping of Sunday trading. A 1 provision is mado that the question of money compensation shall Iks decided by the vote of tho people according to tho electorates throughout tho State.
During tho debate Air Oarruthers, the Premier, opposed compensation of any kind, but favoured a reasonable time notice.
