i'BESS ASSOCIATION. ROTORUA, April 6. A man named John Watson, aged seventy-three ; years, an old servant ft the Bonds Department, was killed to-day on the Taupo road. He fell off a bui took dray, and tho wheels passed over him. DANNEVi REE, April fi This afternoon, a man named George Sergeant, single, aged twenty-four years, living near Wimbledon, was shot in the shoulder by a bullet while getting ever some railed owing to the accidental ili«charge of his gnn. The bullet was afterwards extracted. Hopes are entertained of his recovery. WESTPORT, April 6. Ellen Fisher, aged two years, n-as ran over by a truck at tho Westport Coal Company's tramway at Coalbrookdale. The child was killed instantaneously.
