At an adjourned meeting of the Westport Jockey Club, hold tills evening, to consider tho riding of Miss Braoburn in tho Granity Handicap Trot tho following resolutions were passed“ That G. Mnrfitt, rider of Miss Braoburn, bo fined £5 for not riding his torso out of-the saddling paddock and for nob being in proper jockey costume, and also for speaking to persons other than tho starter while on tho course; that H. Stone, owner of Mips Bracbnrn, bo fined £3 for appearing on tho course in tho Granity Handicap Trot in costume, ami thus leading the public to bohevo ho was riding in tho race. A communication was read, from R. McNeill, rider of Oracle in the Westport Cup, who, after the race, was disqualified for one mouth, asking the stewards to reconsider their decision.
