LONDON, March 6. Sir Frank Swottenhaim, ex-Governor of the Straits Settlements, has a letter in “Tiro Times” replying to the denial by' Mr H. Copeland. New South Wales Agenfc-Genomi, of Sir Frank’s previous statement, alleging that Australia had got rid of tho aborigines and declined bo allow shipwrecked Malays to land on her shores. Sir Frank says;—“My statement regarding tho aborigines of Australia is a matter of common knowledge, which I never before heard questioned.
