Mr Charles Lowe, manager of the Motucka Fruit-growers' Society, has received advice that sulphurised raspberries shipped to London realised ,£37 per ton and black currants c£s2. The report states that there is a strong demand. The' total output of tho society for the past season was 240 tons. This does not include* small fruits disposed of to jam manufacturers a2id others in the colony. Tho hop crop for the Motucka and Riwaka district will be far above the average, picking being now general.
