It is not generally known that the black curtain used by Mr. Bland Holt in his productions for the changes of scones was his own idea, and had been ■used by him for some time before other managers dropped to the convenience of tho innovation. Now Mr. Holt's little invention is being used all over tho world, hnt few interested give the originator the credit of his invention.
