GIRLS' HIGH SCHOOL.

ANNUAL SPORTS. Tho annual sports of tho Girls’ High School took place yesterday at tho school grounds, in delightful weather. A very largo number of friends and relatives of tho pupils and staff were present. During tho progress of the sports afternoon tea .was served to tho visitors, and the general enjoyment was greatly enhanced by the music supplied by tho Bavarian Band. Tho arrangements for tho gatliering were well carried out. Tho following wore tho officers:— President, Miss McLean; treasurer. Miss Morrah; secretaries, Misses Pickmere and ■ Batliau; starters, Mosers Luckie and Jackson; judges, Messrs Brandon, Batkin, Harrison and Joynt/ committee, the staff, prefects and members of tbo Games Club Committee. Tho Sports Committee wishes to thank those who assisted in the management of the sports, Mrs Brandon for presontuig tho prizes, and the following for donations:—Mcsdames ■ Davidson, Filchctt.
