WELLINGTON AND MANAWATD BAILWAY COUPANY. LTD. IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon the Wellington and -Vlauawatu Bailway Company, Limited, by ’’The Kailways Construction and Land Act, ISBI/ > and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling it ia that behalf the said Company doth by this instrument under its Common Seal make and ordain the following by-law that is to say:— No animal or animals shall be allowed or suffered to trespass on this Company's railway or any part thereof; and if any animal or animals is or aro found so trespassing, the owner thereof shall bo deemed to Lave committed a broach of this bylaw, and shall be liable, on conviction, to a penalty not exceeding Ton Pounds (.£10) for each such breach.

Notwithstanding tho liability of any person to a penalty under this by-law, any person employed on or about tho said Company's Kailway, or any police constable, or any other person, may impound any animal or animals that may be found so trespassing as aforesaid, and liable by by-law to be impounded. Except so far as the foregoing by-law shall bo inconsistent with or repugnant to the existing by-laws of tho Company in regard to trespass upon the Company’s Railway such existing by-laws shall remain in full force and effect. In witness whereof tho Seal of the Company has been hereunto affixed by order ot the Company on Uio twenty-ninth day of Juno one thousand nine hundred anil three.
