The Palace Theatre. Sydney; has been packed nightly since Easter. Saturday by enthusiastic audiences to witness Mr •' ■ C. 'Williamson’s Now English Comedy Company in the farcical success "Are Ton a Mason ?" In order to give Sydney theatregoers an opportunity of seeing the company in another comedy Mr J. C. Williamson decided that for the last two weeks of tie season the comedy ‘Oh! What a Night," by George Feydeau and Maurice Des Vailiorres.'would be staged. The comedy was accordingly put up for public approval last Saturday oveni"g, Mr George Giddens appeared as Mr Pinglet. The cast also includes Hr Cecd Ward as Paillard. Mr Herbert Jarman as Mathieii; Mr Desmond as Maxine, Miss Ethel Knight Mollison as Marcel Paillard, Miss Eileen Munroe as Angelioue Pinglet, and Miss Mollie Pearson a a Viotorine. Included in Mr Harry Pickards’s company, at present touring Western Austral:a, are several performers who have at one time or another been through New Zealand. Amongst thorn are Professor Mnccanu, the concertina king; Victor Kelly. Emile Lazem, James Harvey. Lea Warton, Arthur Elliott, Mark Anthony Ernest Brnkman, Miss Maud Fanning Miss Madgp Morris, and the Clarence Sisters. Mr George K%nold, writing _to a Sydney friend, says that he is in good health, and is making preparations for a venture on the London stage. ,
