The "Daily Express” records that a few weeks age a titled Frenchman (whose identity is suppressed) and his suite, consisting of three ladies and a gentleman, visited the Lyric Theatre. So jubilant were the party at receiving a box gratis, they annoyed the whole house to such an' extent that Mr Forbes Robertson had to step to the footlights, saying, "I must ask those people in that box to make less noise, or I cannot go on with (he performance." The whole house agreed, and applauded Mr Forbes Robertson. During fhe interval the offenders went behind the scenes and made an apology.
