CHAMPIONSHIP FIXTURES. The following is the, drawing for the first round of the championship commencing on May 9th: SENIORS. May 9—Karori v. Vivian. No. 1 Day's Bay; Victoria College v. The drawings iu the junior championship, as far as the T.M.C.A. ground is concerned are entirely dependent on the ground being put in a condition fit for playing on. Of the grounds at Day’s Bay, No. 1 is the southern, No. 2 is the nearest to the pavilion on the north, and No. 3 the furthest north. The top ground, when ready, will bo No. 4. The drawing for grounds for Saturday’s practice games resulted as follows:—No. 1 Day’s Bay. United Club; No. 2, Vivian: No. 3, itarori. Victoria College has a bve. Mr T. S. Ronalds on, president of the United Club has been elected vice-pre-sident of the New Zealand Hockey Association.

The North Island v. South Island match, to be played about the end of .Tune, will probably be played at Wellington.
