LORD ROSEBERY.

Colonial Under-Secre-tary. discus-ling the question of Liberalism in the course of a speech at Glasgow, said ho rej carded Lord Rosebery as a “foolish virs,in” for refusing to trim bis lamp when the Liberal-Unionist party started. Ho had been regretting it ever since.
