PROPOSED BY-LAW. ■JVTOTICE is hereby given that the fol■i s lowing Resolution was passed at a Special Meeting of the City Council of Wellington. held on Wednesday the 21st January, 1203, viz.: RESOLUTION; The Council of the City of Wellington hereby makes (by Special Order) the following by-law under “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” and □ all other Acts and Powers enabling the Council in that behalf to amend and add provisions to the By-law of the said Council, made and passed, on the 23rd day of May, 1898, and intituled “The Consolidated By-law, 1898.” The above-named Resolution will ha submitted for Confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting of the Council, to he hold on THURSDAY, the 18th February, 1903, at 8 p.m., at the Council Chambers. Brandon street, Wellington, when the date on which the said By-law will come into force will he fixed. The object and purport of the Amending By-law are as follow: To repeal clause 122 "of part 111. of the Consolidated By-law, 1898. relating to Fees for Inspection of Plans and ■ Buildings, and substituting in lieu , thereof a Clause providing that all Fees payable .in connection with applications for permits made under clause 49 of the By-law shall he payable before such penuits are issued. Also to repeal the sth Schedule of (he said By-law setting out the fees payable for the examination of plans and particulars of any works, and for the inspection of any works, and to substitute in lieu thereof another Schedule sotting out a new scale of fees.
