FIGHTING IN MOROCCO.
THE DEFEAT OF THE PRETENDER
(Received February 3, 11.52 p.m.) LONDON, February 3. Tho Moorish Minister of War, Mon'ch, with 'eight Krupp gulns and four Maxims, attacked the Pretender’s front, tho Beduvarien tribe, whoso_ allegiance bad been secured the previous day, .assailing the Pretender’s rear. A stubborn fight took place, lasting three hours. Tho rebels then fled towards Teza, tho troops pursuing them ■with the intention of punishing the disloyal. .
